Zig Zag finished

Okay this will be quick. I didn’t get much sleep last night, then I was up extra early to get to my writing course that I’ll be at for 2 days. Writing Dynamics promises to make me a dynamic writer. Let’s hope my director thinks so.
Anyway, Back in September I blogged about my zig zag quilt top, well I finally got around to finishing it. This was a mother to quilt on my Juki! Very happy with the finished quilt.

Flannel pj’s on, teeth brushed, lights out…

Connecting Squares

I love this quilt top! It looks so clean and neat and has a retro feel to it or maybe it’s the red frames around the Hometown fabric squares and the white background, whatever it is, it looks great.
It’s totally amazing how great it feels when all you cut pieces come together real easily, the extra care I took in cutting them out helped.
I’m not sure what to use for the backing, if you have any ideas let me know. I do have so extra red fabric and some extra Hometown that I would love to add to the backing…

On the Needles

Wow, I can’t believe it’s October already! I finally got back to my knitting, nothing big mind you but it’s still knitting. I finished up 2 cowls that are up on my Etsy shop and I’m working on another wrap around scarf with wool and mohair. Oh, I almost forgot, I’m also working on a kid mohair top.
